The singer’s page is full of equally as inspiring tweets and her Twitpics look like they were boosted from one of my drunken nights out. Lushes with no self control should’t be allowed such indulgences. If I can get out of bed in the morning, iron mah church panties and even shower every third day or so, when blogging, this bish can get outta the bath to eat her damn meal. ‘Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince’ Releases An Even Newer Batch Of Posters

Last April we got a look at a batch of posters for the latest Harry Potter film The Half-Blood Prince and today, with less than a month left ’til the film’s release, we get to see a newer batch of HP promo posters (courtesy of the official British website for the film). Here is the new poster that features Harry and his ladylove Ginny Weasley:

The official British site has been newly revamped with new animations, new music and loads of new goodies (all downloadable HERE). It appears the theme of this new batch of photos is “relationships”. I suspect that this may be the last bunch of promo materials to be released before the movie FINALLY hits theaters. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince opens on July 15 … and not a moment too soon.

Obama Kills Fly VIDEO

President Barack Obama was doing a sit-down interview with CNBC chief Washington correspondent John Harwood on Tuesday when he started to be bothered by a pesky fly.

Without breaking a sweat, the commander-in-chief struck a fatal blow that sent the fly crashing to the carpeted White House floor.

A good sport, the leader of the free world invited the camera crew to hone in on the dead insect before moving on with the interview.

Sean Drops Out Of Films For Family Reasons, But Is It Really Rehab?

Sean Penn has dropped out of two films for “personal reasons,” leaving the showbiz world to speculate about why one of the most powerful actors in Hollywood would suddenly go into hiding. Penn has bailed on the flicks Cartel and Three Stooges, which he was set to stare in alongside Benicio Del Toro and Jim Carrey. Variety says, “Penn is taking an undetermined sabbatical — possibly as much as a year — to focus on his family.”

But Gawker points in the direction of a NY Post blind item, that bears striking similarity to Penn and his problems. It says, “Which actor is on hiatus due to a drug relapse? He claimed he needed time off because of the heartbreak of his public split, but he’s actually headed to rehab.”

Michael Phelps Secures A New Product Sponsor

You may recall that back in February Olympic Gold Medalist Michael Phelps got caught puffin’ on a big-ass bong (ie. a water pipe that is usually used for smoking marijuana) at a house party in South Carolina … and as a result an infamous photo of the dirty deed made the rounds on the Internets very soon after the party took place. Pretty much as soon as everyone and their mother got to see the photo, Phelpsie got slapped with a 3 month suspension from the USA Swim team, at least 8 people (not including Phelps) got arrested for drug related crimes and a few big name sponsors ended their professional relationships with the embattled swimmer. But that was then … today we learn that Phelps has secured his first new sponsor since that bong photo scandal broke earlier this year … he is now being paid to promote H20 Audio’s new waterproof Surge headphones:

The fallout from Michael Phelps’ infamous bong photo published last winter in a British tabloid appears to be clearing. Phelps is set to announce his first endorsement since the furor over the photo began. It could be the beginning of a comeback for him on Madison Avenue. Remember how the 14-time Olympic champion listened to music in warm-ups before winning eight gold medals at the Beijing Olympic Games? Well, Phelps and H20 Audio are set to announce a multiyear partnership Tuesday for the company’s line of waterproof sports headphones and accessories. H20 will feature Phelps in a summer ad campaign, says founder and chief executive Kristian Rauhala. In an exclusive interview with USA TODAY, Phelps said H20’s in-ear, waterproof Surge headphones have helped improve his training sessions. They’re integrated with the Interval carrying case housing an iPod Shuffle music player. Phelps says he attaches the apparatus to his swim cap with a magnetic strip. Unlike other products he’s tried, Phelps says the headphones don’t fall out when he’s pushing off the wall in turns. “Now I feel like I can incorporate music in my warm-ups. I mean … it’s great that the headphones stay on in the water … but what I really want to know is do they stay on when you’re puffin’ on a big-ass bong? If so … I’m sold!

As a private business owner, you get a lot of leeway as to what’s allowed or not allowed in your store. But the rules for this Asian market might be a bit too stringent.

I can’t say I approve of this discrimination against women. What if I need my girlfriend to go to the store to buy some inside-out rabbit hanging upside down that you can only get from an Asian market? Is there a basket that she can leave her vagina in at the door? And is that sanitary to be removing one’s vagina and leaving it in a basket with a bunch of others? And what if she grabs the wrong one on the way out? If she picks up one that’s been fucking black guys, I’m screwed. One day, I hope Asian people can stop being so tricky. And ruining the curve in Calculus class.

Megan Fox made her way from Berlin to London for another premiere of Transformers. I think me and everyone else have already covered the fact that she’s pretty and young and virile and the complete opposite of Jennfier Aniston. If I ever had the opportunity to talk with her, my mind would go on auto-pilot and I’d start humping her leg. Which would be the least embarrassing thing I’d do. You probably couldn’t even understand me saying, “I love you Megan Fox,” through the buckets of drool coming out of my mouth.

Chastity Bono going forward on becoming a man with a Reality TV show

So which is more weird – That Chastity Bono is becoming a man, or that word is emerging that she and her people have been shopping a reality show on the deal?

The 40-year old offshoot of Cher and Sonny Bono has already made quite a mark on the world as a civil rights advocate, author, musician and spokes…er, man?…for GLAAD, but according to her rep, Howard Bragman, Chaz – as he is now known - “has made the courageous decision to honor his true identity.”

Before the news broke, one charming morsel that at least circled the fan was that both Chaz and mom, Cher, did the rounds of the networks, trying to sell the whole gig as a reality show. So now the op is confirmed and the show didn’t fly, that makes the last part of Mr. Bragman’s release look slightly bizarre, “He is proud of his decision and grateful for the support that has already been shown,” it reads. ”But we ask that the media respect Chaz’s privacy during this process as he will not be doing interviews at this time.”

So interviews read by a few million people are out, but a reality show that could potentially be seen by half of all human life is somehow okay.

That’s some truly strange logic.

We wish Chaz the best, and hope all goes well with his plans.

Will Smith may be one of the world’s biggest stars, but recently wife Jada Pinkett Smith asked him to play a different role – Mr. Mom.

Before taking on the titles of producer and star of the TNT drama “HawthoRNe,” which debuts on Tuesday, Jada sat down with her famous family to make sure they’d be OK without her.

“I said, ‘Listen, there was a show I’d love to do and it will be three months that you might not see Mommy a lot,’” she told CNN. “And they’re looking at me like, ‘Really? What does that mean?’”

But she said more daddy time with Will means a break from mom’s rules for Willow, 8, and Jaden, 11.

“So they get to eat chocolate for breakfast and go to bed whenever they feel like it for those three months while I’m working,” Jada said. “So, it works out, and they know that the rest of the year, I’m off.”

But Jada’s not too far from her family – the show is filming in Inglewood, Calif., close enough to the Smith home for Will to make a cameo on her show.

“He’s an extra in one of the episodes, so just see if you can catch him,” she said. “He’s walking by, doing a drive-by, and we could hardly afford that. It was a very costly walk-by.”

“HawthorRNe” production wraps this summer, when Will will be the one leaving the house, to produce the Jaden-starring “Karate Kid” remake in Beijing, China. Jaden will take on the title role alongside Jackie Chan, who will play the iconic Mr. Miyagi.

Attached actress Camilla Belle has been secretly “hooking up” with Twilight star Robert Pattinson, despite her on-going romance with Jonas Brothers singer Joe Jonas, if The National Enquirer is to be believed. Enquirer chatterboxes claim Camilla is “crazy in love” with the British actor and has been secretly dating him for the past several months.

A close friend of the 300 B.C. actress spills: “I’ve known Camilla for most of her life, and I’ve never seen her so crazy in love. She and Rob have been meeting up with each other for months, and she talks about him all the time!”

Judges have Mercy on Madonna

Madonna has somehow bribed persuaded the threee judges allow her to adopt Malawian orphan Mercy James.

A source said: “The paperwork is being typed up now. All recommendations are in favour of the adoption taking place. Mercy should start packing her bags. She’s off to America.”

The ruling is set to be announced next Sunday at Malawi’s Supreme Court of Appeal.

This Week On DVD and Blu-ray: June 9, 2009

A few tidbits before we get started with this week’s releases begin with news Howard’s End is the film that won the Amazon.com online voting to become one of Criterion’s next Blu-ray releases. A release date has not yet been announced, but a preorder has been made available at Amazon.

Next, I previously listed The Soloist for DVD and Blu-ray from Paramount Home Entertainment, but have since been asked to remove the August 4 release date as it was apparently mistakenly added to the official release schedule. I will have an update once Paramount revises their schedule.

Finally, Deadline Hollywood is reporting The Weinstein Company’s recent financial troubles have caused the studio to relinquish the DVD and Blu-ray rights to Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds with co-distributor Universal Pictures now set to step in. And now, on with this week’s releases…

Woodstock: 3 Days of Peace & Music Director’s Cut I am beginning with this one because of a guilty conscience. I have had the DVD edition of Warner Home Video’s Woodstock director’s cut for about a week and a half now, but haven’t been able to muster up the desire to watch it. I did plug it into the player just before starting this post and have it playing in the background, but my lack of interest in ’60s music is really going to deter me from being able to finish it. I thought the idea of an Oscar-winning documentary would encourage me to watch this nearly four hour doc filled with ’60s tunes, drugs, sex and everything else that happened at the famed festival back in mid-August of 1969, but my lack of appreciation for the music that moved a generation is going to be a tough fact to get over. However, we can still talk about this massive new release because it truly is an impressive collection.

First off, this is the director’s cut and it is 40 minutes longer than the theatrical release making it 3 hours and 44 minutes. The DVD release comes on two discs and also includes a third disc including three hours of bonus features starting with 18 bonus performances from the likes of Joan Baez, Santana and The Who.

A second feature called “From Festival to Feature” is a behind-the-scenes feature chronicling the festival and the filming of the documentary. The goodies included are made up of a ton of collectibles including a 60-page commemorative reprint of LIFE magazine, a fact sheet made up of things such as the number of births during the festival (2 of them) and reproductions of festival material such as tickets and some cool handwritten notes that may have been found around the festival grounds left by festival goers.

While I may not be a fan of the music I will one day get through this massive collection, but I can tell you if this is up your alley you will definitely want to give it a once over. Warner has put together an incredible package and the evenly fringed buckskin-covered packaging is sure to satisfy any sense of nostalgia you may have.

Gran Torino So, I didn’t particularly like Gran Torino as I thought it was a manipulative film attempting to gain your sympathy for a character that never earned it. Beyond that, the acting is incredibly shaky, primarily by the young actors portraying the Hmong family living next door. However, the DVD and Blu-ray edition are #1 and #2 on the Amazon.com sales charts for this week’s releases so obviously I am in the minority.

I, however, will not discount the fact this film is quality material to stir up conversation. For example, a couple of questions that pop in my head right off the bat: Does Walt earn any sense of redemption by the end of the film? Do actions always speak louder than words?

Paramount Blu-ray Domestic Thrillers
Fatal Attraction / Indecent Proposal I just posted a write-up on both of these releases together, which you can read right here. The short of it says how much I like Fatal Attraction and how Indecent Proposal not so much. The Shield - The Complete Seventh Season I am going to have to get out there and buy this one since it is the only season of “The Shield” I don’t own, but I haven’t heard anything about the quality of the final season. Any “Shield” fans out there want to tell me how good (or bad) the final season was? The International This wasn’t all that bad, but it’s definitely a rental and not a buy. Fired Up! (Unrated) This film actually surprised me, but it too is just a rental. Crossing Over I never ended up seeing this film, but I haven’t heard a lot of good things. Yup, that means rental… EVEN MORE
